Welcome to [Questetra BPM Suite] !
Please try the [Questetra BPM Suite],which needs only Drag&Drop to create the workflow.
Below, you can find the rough explanation "10 minutes trial" which contains(1) Loging into SaaS BPM trial environment, (2) Creating a workflow by Drag&Drop and(3) Starting the process as an operator.
1. Login
After registering for Free account, you will receive a completion Email from Questetra.
Access the URL written in the Email, enter your Email address and Pass-word to login.
If you are not in SaaS environment, please apply Free account first.
2.Creating a Workflow
2-1. Name the Workflow
Let's create a Workflow named 'Hello World!'
- Click on the user name on top right and choose [Process model Setting].
Process model List - Click [New Model] button.
New Model - Enter Workflow name (Hello World!) into [Process Model Name] box.
- Click [Add new process model] button.

2-2. Design Working Process
Place items and connect them to fit the working process.
Let's place two tasks (rectangular with rounded corners) side by side, other than Start and end items.
- Click 'red circle' item third from the top in the pallet on the left of the screen, Drag & Drop it into the rectangular to the right.
- Place two rectangular with rounded corners and a thick line red circle as well.
- As you move the mouse cursor to the right of red circle which you placed at 1., it changes the display of icons, then simply Drag & Drop to the next item on the right and connect them.
- Connect all items.
2-3. Setting up Format of Each Business Data
Let's set up business data to enter and its format.
- Click [Process Data Item] tab at the top to open [Process Data Item] setting screen.
- Click [+ Add] button to add process data item.
- Select [Numeric] from pull-down menu of data type choice.
- Repeat 2.3. over to add [Date] type process data item.
2-4. Set up Entering Business Data
Let's set up tasks, entering and displaying.
- Click [permission] tab to open [Permission] setting screen.
- The settings will change as you click on an item, set up the data as following,
- The first task (Task2) - all [Read Write]
- The second task (Task3) - [Read Only] in [Title] and [data1], [-] in [data2]
2-5. Save & Start!
Let's save the Workflow and start it.
- Click [Save] button to save the Workflow.
- Click [Close] button to close the Process Modeler.
Version (Editing) Detail - Click [Activate Editing Version] button.
Process Model is now Activated!
3. Flow Task
3-1. Starting A Process Model
Let's start the Activated Process Model.
- Click [Workflow] menu button
- Click [Start] button menu list on the left
- Click [Start] button on "Hello World!" in Process Model List.
Data input screen of first operation (Task2) will be displayed. - Input letters in [Title], numbers in [data1], and choose date on the calender for [data2].
- Click [Finish "Task2"] button to finish the task.
3-2. Check Your Task List and Execute.
Let's do your Task from [My Tasks]
- Click [My Tasks] in the left menu.
List of tasks for you will be displayed. - Click [Execute] button on Process model "Hello World"
Screen of the second Task (Task3) will be displayed. - Check displayed items.
[Data2] will not be displayed because the permission is set [-] (not display) - Click [Finish "Task3"] button to close the Task.
